Magnolia hotel denver

Somehow every hotel in denver is full this week so I ended up having to stay at this random Magnolia hotel. The room is large, it has a full kitchen, and a cool bath tube. But there's lint on the pillow cases from being washed too much, it takes 10 mins for the shower to have hot water (which I learnt after mid-way thru my cold shower), and there's no desk for working. With just a little work it could be a nice hotel. Alas, it's not meant to be.

Cold foggy day

How is it colder than boston and denver here in seattle? What is wrong with the weather? At least when it's cold in other places the sun is out. Sigh.
